I have never quite thought myself witty, important, or otherwise interesting enough to keep a blog. However, with thanks to an assignment by my ART 3372 professor (Thanks Ed!), I am hereby beginning a visual chronicle of my semester here in Lubbock, Texas.
This will be (for the most part, at least) a photo blog; therefore, today's post will probably be the wordiest.
As a college student, I do not have a continual influx of spare time, travel opportunities, or funds; nor is Lubbock the most visually stunning backdrop for a photographer. Due to these limitations, the theme for my current photographic endeavor featured here will be an attempt at awakening to the simple beauty in the detail of a rather plain everyday life.
