To all you wonderful, lovely, kind mothers and mothers-in-law and grandmothers and mothers-to-be, I hope you had just the most wonderful, relaxing, spoiled weekend!
And to my especially special mother, I wish I could've been with you on your most-deserved beautiful day. You have always been the best mother possible to Taylor and I and we are so blessed to have you!
In other news, Murphy graduated from puppy obedience school last Thursday! We're so proud of our little genius. Hopefully pictures will be up soon (including Murph in a puppy-sized graduation hat, get ready for that!)
Also, I had the most wonderful weekend ever with my precious friends from camp, Ashley and Laura Catherine. Truer friends a girl has never had! Little Ashley is getting ready to graduate, then spend all summer as Woods camp secretary, and then is leaving for a Prague teaching program in September! Brave girl, right? I would give anything to have her people skills, and her work ethic, and her hilarious sense of humor, and her kind heart. She's a woman after God's own heart. And Laura Catherine is a complete heartthrob. She'd never admit it, but boys drool when she walks in. And her heart is even more beautiful. She's so much fun to be around, and makes everything a blast. And she's leaving for nursing school in Dallas in July, the little genius! All in all, the two of them basically make me look like the creepy step-sister, but somehow we all click together perfectly! I am so blessed to call these two girls my sisters and best friends.
PS in Abilene, at Ashley's urging, we visted a hole in the wall, complete dive bar called La Columpia. Among other things, this bar boasted blaring Hispanic music, flashing blue and green Christmas lights, and a dance floor the size of our kitchen. But it was a BLAST. Seriously the most fun I've had in months. I think that's probably the most accurate description of our friendship that I could give. :)
Basically I'm just the luckiest girl in the world sometimes. I hope you're all happy and healthy!
