Spring Break-agram

I just love using my mom's phone to Instagram pictures when we're back home.
Here are a few from the Spring Break visit, including our very successful fishing trip...

Our trip out to my aunt & uncle's new land...

And some cousin reunion time in Oklahoma!

Kaila, on the left, is living in Dallas and working at the House of Blues. Kelsey, between Taylor and me, just moved to the Dallas area to start working at Baylor Medical in Waxahachie! And Taylor is still kicking tail on Varsity soccer at Lee. Aren't they gorgeous?

Merry Christmas, Ya'll!

Continuing in the tradition of a day late! I like to think that I can never make holiday posts on time because I'm too busy spending time with the people that I'm actually with in the real world. That's probably about 90% of the explanation; the other 10% is because at the end of the day, I'm too tired (or lazy) to get my computer out.

Anywho, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I hope you had a blessed, beautiful, love-filled, relaxing, cheerful, fun, joyous, happy, altogether WONDERFUL holiday! Even if you don't celebrate Christmas....we all need a just awesome day every now and again. From my family to yours!

...praise Him, from whom all blessings flow...

Busy Bee

My apologies for my absence as of late; it seems that school takes up a lot of my time this semester! Add in nannying and puppies and relationships....phew. Sometimes I get tired just planning everything out.

But this weekend, we made an impromptu trip to Tyler to visit Rex's second family as they welcomed a new baby! Little Dawson Knox, 7 lbs 12 oz, 21.5 inches long. Presh! However, that meant 15 hours of driving in less than 60 hours of weekend. Including driving through the night on Friday! I don't even remember the last time I stayed up all night (And the Most Boring College Student Ever Award goes to ..... me!!). So much fun.

Other than that, it's just school and school and school over here! Second round of tests are coming up here pretty quick...so don't worry if you don't here from me for a while. Just means I'm drowning in books/notes/study guides!

Happy Wednesday to all!

Let Me Introduce Someone...

...just my favorite little girl in the whole world! I got to hang out with sweet little baby Katerpillar last Sunday in the nursery at my church back home, and it was such a treat. I met her and her family last summer at camp, when Kate was seven months old, and the chubbiest, rollie-polliest (hence the caterpillar nickname) little chunk of a baby girl you had ever seen! Staying connected with families from camp, even in small ways, is such a blessing. Getting to talk to Mrs. Kimmel and play with little Kate all morning was just such a treat.

Also, you know how I mentioned that once every two weeks I pull together an outfit that I'm proud of? Last Sunday was one of those days. Unfortunately, this photo is all I had to show for it! Go figure! But I was happy with my high-waisted khakis (from a thrift store, Liz Claiborne circa 1980, haha!), floral print knit shirt, cardigan, and purple flats, so much so that I figured I'd boast anyway, without a photo!

Hope your Tuesday is happy!
