Happy L(ate)easter!

Since the Cooksey family (and myself as well, at times) is the worst about remembering to take family photos, I don't have anything to show for the weekend that we spend in Abilene. It was a great time, however. We got to spend a lot of time with long-time family friends, eat LOTS of good food, and, unfortunately, attend the funeral of Rex's great-godmother (god-grandmother? I'm not sure how that works). It was a happy weekend, with a little bit of sad as well.

I hope you had a good Easter! Here are a few of my favorite Easter posts from around the web, to make up for my lack of photos. (That last one isn't Easter-themed...just hilarious.)

And here's a precious Easter baby...

Scaredy Cat

How funny are these pictures from our visit to Tyler last week?
Rex thinks it's so funny to surprise me by hoisting me up onto his shoulders.....and I usually respond by having a panic attack. I love the third one from the top where I'm looking very overwhelmed, and Rex just has the biggest grin.

Anyway, happy Thursday y'all! It's almost Friday...rejoice!

Spring Break-agram

I just love using my mom's phone to Instagram pictures when we're back home.
Here are a few from the Spring Break visit, including our very successful fishing trip...

Our trip out to my aunt & uncle's new land...

And some cousin reunion time in Oklahoma!

Kaila, on the left, is living in Dallas and working at the House of Blues. Kelsey, between Taylor and me, just moved to the Dallas area to start working at Baylor Medical in Waxahachie! And Taylor is still kicking tail on Varsity soccer at Lee. Aren't they gorgeous?

Happy Spring!

Enjoy the pretty weather while it lasts, at least here in Lubbock anyway!

We're back to those weird weather days, where it's 35 degrees at 8 AM when I leave the house, and 70 degrees by mid-afternoon. But I guess it could be worse!

Happy Spring!!
